The Bolivian Writer Rossemarie Caballero became known for her prose style, especially noted in her novel El vuelo de la esfinge, 2009, in her short stories  Enigmas de la esfinge, 2007, and Los vagidos del gato, 2008. After that she´s published the  novel Los espejos de Fabia, 2014; the short story books Mujer que no fuma, 2012, Obsesiones, 2016, and Juego de trenzas, 2018. As a poet, Rossemarie began her publications with Antítesis in 1998, then she´s published Hojas de Eva, 2004, In versos, 2016; Rollo de papel, 2015 and her last poems book Ni aguja ni reloj, 2019.

From 2016 she collects the Bolivian women writers production in three books: Escritoras Cochabambinas, 2018; Escritoras Cruceñas, 2019, and Escritoras Contemporáneas Bolivianas, 2019, as a result of her EC-B project.

Rossemarie Caballero (Rosse Marie) was born on the 30th, November in 1961 in Cochabamba, Bolivia. She is a poet, essayist, novelist and professor. Her most notable work are the novels El vuelo de la esfinge and Los espejos de Fabia, and her short-stories collections. She has published a lot of articles on Diario Opinion, a newspaper in Cochabamba, from 1998 to 2008, and on Temas Cbba Magazine (www.temascbba.com). Nowadays she is an active feminist writer in the Bolivian literary society.
Rossemarie Caballero `s studied languages at the San Simon University and Literature at Sedes Sapientiae Normal Catolica. In 1999 she went to Madrid to pass a Teachers Literature Course in a scholarship program. She worked as a Professor at the  Universities Univalle and Domingo Savio, and at the Teachers Training Schools in Cochabamba, Santa Cruz and Tarija, teaching the future teachers. From april 2016 she lived in Buenos Aires with her family, in 2017 she worked and lived in Tarija, Bolivia; but from 2018 to 2019 she came back to Buenos Aires, Argentina, but from the 14 th, march 2020 she lives and works in Bolivia again.

Her son Carlos Mauricio is married to Karla Guzman and they live in Cochabamba, Bolivia. Her daugther Claudia Monica and her grandaugther Sophie live in Buenos Aires.

Actually she prepares her new publications in Santa Cruz de la Sierra, Bolivia, where she lives with her husband Guido. Buenos Aires is a great page in her heart and memories.

BIOGRAFÍA: Rosse Marie Caballero Vega nació en Cochabamba – Bolivia, bajo el signo de sagitario de 1961. Estudió Idiomas en la UMSS y Letras y Comunicación en la Normal Católica, con postgrado en Lengua y Literatura en Madrid – España. Cursó la Maestría en Didáctica para la enseñanza de lenguas extranjeras, UMSS. Se desempeña como profesora del Estado boliviano.

Periodista invitada en el evento Téathre au féminin, en París, 1999. Columnista del diario Opinión.com.bo, desde 1998. Miembro de Escritores Unidos. Bolivia. Actualmente reside en Cochabamba y dirige el Taller de Creación Literaria “NERUDA”, de su iniciativa. Mediante este Taller, organiza anualmente el FESTIVAL DE POESIA JUVENIL, para estudiantes de la Secundaria. Está casada con Dn. Guido Subieta Arredondo y Landa y es madre de dos hijos: Mauricio y Mónica Pereyra Caballero.
